ABOUT BURLINGTON SCA

• Five officers - President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
• Classroom representative and alternate for each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade homeroom
• Meet once a month for one hour
• Plan fun activities and community service projects for the student body

SCA ELECTIONS

• 3rd and 4th grade students are informed of the positions they can run for and given an application if interested.
• Students must turn in an application with teacher signatures, a campaign poster, and prepare a speech.
• Candidates will share their speech at an assembly that includes an audience of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders.
• Students will vote online throughout the day.
• Before dismissal, the new SCA Officers will be announced.
